Daria and Heine Rasmussen left their corporate careers and life in Denmark and moved to the bush to create an off-the-grid dark sky sanctuary on the banks of the Doring River in the remote Cederberg. A place to protect and experience the pristine night sky and embark on the inner and outer journeys of life appreciation.
Their goal is to bring astronomy down-to-earth and to make it more accessible, breaking the assumption that it can only be understood and experienced through the sense of sight. The Star Bathing experience connects you with nature and the universe in this pristine wilderness.
